I am Carl. I was the first baby born at Trinity Farms Alpacas. My name is a tribute to a friend who died in a boating accident not long after I was born. His name was Carl Schneider. My owners still miss him.
I do believe it started with my request for 2 gelded alpaca males. I thought it would be great to spin and do needlework with my own fleece. Weeelll John fell in love with a showgirl. Sienna captured his heart and we took home our first few alpacas. We now have many more. While most are show quality we have a few that are not. We have had our high points and low points in starting our small hobby farm. There have been many tears of joy as well as tears of sadness. John delights in showing off his alpaca babies and adults, bringing them in for people to touch and play with- especially for kids. This property was pretty much forest when we started with it. John had some help in the beginning to clear the land. He dropped many cherry trees as alpacas are "allergic" to them. He then planked each one with a chain saw and built the barn by himself. No small feat when you look at the barn. He then built the barn for the boys and did the same for the farm store. Over the past years our store and farm have evolved. Christine is a Registered Nurse of more than 30 years. She finished a second degree in 2020 of CAM... Complimentary Alternative Medicine. This includes a certification in Iridology (looking into the body thru the eyes), Natural Product Manufacturing, Advanced Aromatherapy, Holistic Nutrition, and Herbs for Health and Medicine. She has been a Reiki Master and Nurse Master Herbalist for years as well. With this education our shop carries everything needed for all natural health and wellness for people and animals. The farm houses Peacocks, red golden pheasants, ducks, turkeys, chickens, fainting goats, saanen goats, and of course alpacas. We add more as we see animals that are a good fit for our farm.
